I actually would take Rex in the NFL. I don't think he is a terrible coach at all. I just think the GM and ownership taking him in have to be able to put up with his crap, be on a similar page in terms of long-term game plans, and of course keep all trades and drafting out of his hands.

If you get Rex, you better heavily invest in a O-Line, he likes to run the ball and in today's league you cannot run without a line. Also you must force his hand into giving up any play calling and force a all-star OC and QB coach on him. After that, I think he can manage a team with the best of them. They might not be the best disciplined, but they will all have the heart and they will never quit on him. With Rex, you can win against any team you play against. Unfortunately you can lose against any team as well...
