This is good news for the SEC.

Oregon has the capability of knocking off an SEC power in the national title game, probably one of the few teams outside the SEC that has a very legit shot.

If a team doesn't prepare for that offense properly or is caught off guard, it can get difficult to deal with and in reality the longer Kelly has been there the better it's getting.

This eliminates one of the stronger non-SEC contenders in reality.

I absolutely love the people on this board who must have gotten their asses kicked as kids on a daily basis and as grown up have realized that they are still the worthless little fricks they were back then. So now they can sit on forums and try to act all badass and tell people that they posted on the wrong board or how someone elses's thought process is wrong. I hope that being able to sit behind a computer screen and play tough guy on a forum helps you sleep at night next to your blow up doll with duct tape all over it from experimenting a threesome with your gerbil.

8. Oregon will play an SEC team for the national championship.

Buoyed by coach Chip Kelly's return to Oregon, the Ducks will go 12-1 in the regular season and win the Pac-12. With Mariota returning for his second season under center, the Ducks will play an SEC team in the last BCS National Championship at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif.

Oregon brings back 15 position players, so Mariota will have plenty of help surrounding him. The Ducks will have to replace star tailback Kenjon Barner, but De'Anthony Thomas will be the most explosive player in the country when he touches the ball.

I think it does pertain to the SEC rant in regards that the Oregon fans have been talking shite about how they will beat the SEC for the national title next year.

Please dont post things that would make this post SEC related. According to some this has nothing to do with the SEC

Not sure what that means, but I have noticed a number of posts requesting that board. I'm just here for the party.

I'm not mad. Quite the contrary. I find it amusing when dumb asses think they know more than anyone else and the only way in life they feel worth anything is to try and be billy bad arse on a computer forum. If I remember correctly, I have a right to my ideas and I can post this wherever I damn well please. If the mods feel it needs to be moved, they will. Until then I sit back and laugh in amusement

You could tie this to Saban is another way too.

Since Kelly clearly stated he was returning to ORegon, and then left for the NFL anyway, will this topic finally overshadow Saban saying he would not be Bama'a coach and then taking the Bama job anyway?

I was betting it would be Oregon-Ohio St. in the MNCG next year.

Now it will probably be a 1 loss SEC team vs. OSU.

I thought he had already said he was staying at Oregon and given up on the NFL after the Fiesta Bowl?
