but it's a no brainer that he's a communications disaster. Dude has no clue how to manage the fan base and the media.

Dare I ask who you thinks really does a great job dealing with the media and fans? The media are such a bunch of yappy dogs and the fan base, at least this one, isn't going to be happy with anything he says anyway.

I am just curious how YOU feel a coach should be managing the media and fan base? Examples?

hey country vol is there any talk of Chavis up there in Knoxvegas. I've heard Clemson, LSU, and I think someone said the Titans as a LB coach. Not really pushing but I've always liked Chavis as a coach and would like to see him do well wherever he goes.

The issue is, if we've heard about a possible new DC hire, you don't think Malveto has too?

Damn, you have an awfully low opinion of Miles if you think he wouldn't speak with them about their future before everyone else knows about it.

Yeah... only official interview announced was Clemson. He said in an interview that he'd be interested in LSU, but there is no opening there.

I'd suspect he'd get a look with the Titans and possibly Atlanta (which he turned down last season) and some other NFL teams not too far from Knoxville (Cincinnati, Carolina, etc.) should any positions open up.

I honestly thought he'd be at Georgia, but I don't think they'll make a move. So I'd say LSU or Clemson most likely.

frick the Peach Bowl and frick the fans. The only way waiting can hurt LSU is if he waits to long and some of the candidates take other jobs. The 2008 Peach Bowl and entitled fans' little feelings are irrelevant in the Big Picture.
