I am told by multiple sources this report is incorrect. Strong has not been fired. Tomorrow is another day, of course, but not now.

Texas has a history of hiring veteran hcs from peer institutions. They may in fact hire Herman, but it would be totally out of character for them. Frankly, if past is in fact prologue, then they would be more likely to go after Dabo or Fedora, than Herman. However, they are desperate enough at this point to break tendency and leave their comfort zone, but I just don't expect these Longhorn creatures of habit to leave their "box".
