it won't be that expensive.....much better to cut ties now. The O line coach needs to follow. Next year can be a success.....still not going to hang myself for a three loss season, am more upset about the same mistakes being repeated.

The distorted logic on Tiger Rant is hilarious....

Let me get this right......we want to fire our offensive coordinator after: posting a 9-3 season (with two of the losses being to the #1 and #2 teams in the country)AND if we don't show improvement next year this fan base wants to get rid of the head coach.

If you agree with the above ...
1. Do you really think that the best and brightest coordinators will want to work in this environment"?
2. who would want to take the risk involved with LSU, after all, Tiger fans have said this is the "graveyard of coaches"?
3. who would want to work with Les Miles? We've excoriated him all week and called him everything but capable.

No I' like to see his arse run out of town because LSU is ranked 108 in total Offense, 100 in Passing Offense and 84 in rushing offense. Do you honestly think Jefferson showed improvement all year? Personally if Miles doesn't run him off I don't see Miles making it past next year.

You do realize you're posting on the Rant, right? Dumb it down for 'em man, dumb it down.

Is it hilarious our offense ranks 108 out of 120?

How could he possibly not be?

He was coaching for his job last night. We put up the least amount of yards of the 7 other SEC teams that played Arkansas this year. Rivalry game or not, that's unacceptable.

All of you have missed my point. I am not arguing that Crowton should be retained...........I am questioning our ability to get a top-notch coordinator given all the problems that peple on the Rant believe that the LSU football program faces...........

only thing i think is we need a new o-line coach.i like our offense but our offense coaches are limited because of the line.its part stud and part talent.our interior stunk this year in my opinion.

Sorry dude. MANY OC's would kill their first born to coach our talent.

Sorry dude, but we don't want just any coordinator.......we want the best coordinator out there. Given all the problems with LSU and our inept head coach who should be run out of town on a rail......(according to the "experts on the Rant) our ability to attract that kind of coordinator is questionable.

By the way, I HAVE seen or heard almost every LSU football game since 1957!

Coordinators (especially one at LSU which is given free reign over the playcalling without much impediment) would be more than willing to come to LSU. The opportunity to work at a top program coupled with great money and great athletes makes it a pretty easy sell.

Have to say, last week was the first time Crowton and Miles just called a play. The were no audibles or dummy calls, just lined up and played football. KISS

Too little to late for Crowton to survive.
I believe the Offensive Staff will be replaced during off season.

Hannagriff was talking awhile back about how Stud may go with Porter to Memphis. That would solve that.

He's one of the highest paid coaches in college football and is running the 106th ranked offense in college football...

I realize all the reasons to fire GC are valid. Heck, I agree with everyone. Having said that, I still do not believe GC will be fired.

1. LM is extremely loyal to his coaches.
2. 8-5 to 10-3 with a bowl win over Penn State would totally stop any heat LM is getting over GC.
3. With Offensive Assistant coaches being replaced, that creates a positive spin that deflects from GC being canned.

So, please, mister, please, at least hire a QB coach for cryin' out loud.
