Who all agrees with me that just maybe CEO just took himself out of the running during the Bama game? I'm not saying because we lost but because the offense made no adjustments and looked NOTHING like it did previously. If not CEO, does this mean maybe Herman or Fisher are the clear front runners with Aranda maybe being a wild card? Thanks guys, Geaux Tigers!

I really like O, but I think he took himself out of contention if we're using "beating Bama" as the barometer.

Still wish he'd be considered though.

O should have never really been in the running. This is too big of a hire.

I disagree. IF he runs the table I think Alleva offers him a 5 year deal

If this supposed report that Aranda would leave if CEO gets the job is true, then his chances should be 0%

What report? Got a link or something I honestly want to read it because I haven't heard anything

Orgeron is a good DLine coach and recruiter. The rah rah yaw stuff with a 5 word vocabulary eventually wears thin.

It's more of a rumor than a report. Didn't mean to come across as saying this is 100% factual. Someone claiming to have "sources" posted about it on the Coaching Changes board.

Oo ok one of those "sources" deals

Tell that to Boudreaux and Thibodeaux...

Alabama should not be the only test.
Our O line and QB needs improving... both inherited and
nothing extra ordinary can be done during the season....

the last games will be a bigger deciding factor IMHO

I would not offer a 5 year deal, but may well do a 3 year.

Players do not deserve to have played under 3 different coaches in 3 years

did you expect an actual report like that to exist? or any report on anything verifiable related to LSU's coaching search?

I was starting to open up to the idea of it, but watching what i saw Saturday reminded me that he's just a cheerleader who can recruit.(And speak Coon-arse)
There are far more qualified coaches out there.

These last 3 games mean nothing to me. He's the Cajun Les Miles.

Even if there's a chance Jimbo's success is only because of Jameis, (which I don't believe at all) I would much rather roll the dice on him than Ed Orgeron. Hard pass.
