For what it is worth, I have heard the retirement story earlier this year as well. I was told that it was due to his health and stress having a negative effect on his condition. This came from within the AD's office.

Now that was more in the beginning of the season, things change and belowpar might/probably is correct. It is currently probably not true, but there has been several unrelated stories of this; just saying where there is smoke sometimes there is fire.

For what it is worth, I hope it is not true. I would hate to see a health issue push him out, be it perm or temp.

My inside sources say we get:

Bill Belichick HC

Urban Meyer OC

Nick Saban DC

And my source is SS4LSU's buddy in the AD's office, so you can take that to the bank.

We need Les to keep the season interesting. Who else could step in and deal with the pressure? Only one person out there, Gruden..

WHAT? You have a long way to go to be almost dumb. THey would be respectable? SO would he take Crowton with him? HAHAHAHAHHA

You need to wake up little man, IF we were to lose our coach, we would also throw Crowton out! At 4 Mill per year, we would get one of, if not the top available coaches in the country and they would inherit a team full of unmatched talent and youth and LSU will be strong for many years to come.

Can you imagine this team this year if we could have simply averaged 100 more yds per game? With the #1 D?

We would have been absolutely sick and we would also be #1 at this moment with ANY kind of offensive improvemnt from last year!!!!!

frickING WAKE THE frick UP ALL YOU DUMBASSES!

nutt's crowning achievement has been his ability to get his players motivated to play that LSU game.

if he came to LSU, you can be sure that the only competitive game that he'll coach is the spring game.
