Our fanbase has the catastrophic syndrome, yesterday Wooward was the best, today he’s Alleva. Just let the man do his job and see who he hired, then you can let loose your cannons. Based on his two hirings so far, wbb and baseball, I would think this hiring is even better.

Realistically there are maybe 3 coaches in the world that would actually take the job (not considering unrealistic NFL options) under the right circumstances that actually would be world class top shelf coaches here. One of them said I am not going to LSU last night and the other two are comfortable where they are.
The reality is we are going to get a middle of the road coach. Maybe even a lower tier coach. And this board is going to do what they do best, and sell themselves on it. Yeah there might be an initial melt but by June everyone on this board will be slobbering the knob of whatever C tier coach we hire.

I like how he never leaks went out the window when everyone thought it was Riley based on assumption. Everyone was ecstatic. Now either he had no leaks and are still plugging away or Riley spurned him. We'll never know. But what this board gave him so much credit for what was the product of so much hate towards him.
Riley is done. Whether he moved on or was never an option, we are getting a head coach. Just let this shite play out. If there are no leaks, he was doing his job and we were stupid to believe a smokescreen.
