I'm all in on him much over fisher. Herman will soon be off the board and I want to do whatever we can do to keep aranda for as long as possible.

But will the defense take a step back given more responsibilities? Right now, all he has to worry about is the Defense and the defense only.

Why not keep Aranda in charge of defense, hire top notch OC, and keep Ed O to keep talent flow if we can't get top 2 candidates?

I 110 percent want this if we don't get one of the big two. He'll if you told me right now that Aranda was going to be a better HC than Herman it wouldn't shock me for a second.

You would need Orgeron's help to make this happen. It would take 2-3 years to deliberately, methodically transition from O to Aranda. Work Aranda into the admin, hr and pr functions, gradually. Escalate his contract $1m per year to term. Pay O handsomely for his trouble.
