Bruce Arians with the possibility of Bowles as DC would for sure be an upgrade. I just hope Arians health is ok

Tampa has a very talented team. Especially on offense so this would be very similar to that.

I'm going to go ahead and call BS on this take.
The Cardinals went a combined 18-30 in Whisenhunt's last three seasons. They proceeded to go 49-30-1 under Arians. He had one season below .500, which was 7-8-1.
This wasn't an "AFC East circa 2018" situation, either. During his tenure, all 3 of the other teams in his division had a season where they won at least 11 games. His first year on the job, two teams from his division played in the NFC championship game, then the Seahawks won the Super Bowl. He still finished 10-6. In 2014 he dragged a team that started Drew Stanton and Ryan Lindley for 10 games to an 11-5 record and a wild card spot. In 2013 they went 13-3 and laid an egg in the NFC championship game with 6 turnovers.
2016 is the only time he underachieved- The Cardinals went 7-8-1 against a first place schedule. They should have won 9 or 10 games this season.
In 2017 Carson Palmer again got injured halfway through the season, which resulted in 9 starts between Blaine Gabbert and Drew Stanton. Their best offensive player (David Johnson) got injured in the third quarter of the season's first game. The Cardinals still finished with a respectable 8-8 record.
Final note- Counting his interim coaching with the Colts in 2012, Bruce Arians is 33-12-1 in games decided by 8 points or less. I'd say the man knows how to coach

I was wondering this morning why it was deleted.
Briles was announced as the OC almost 2 weeks ago. I assumed you had been in a coma
