That’s my hang up with Stoops right there. If that goofball walks into a recruit’s house after Saban, we’ll be out of the top 25 in recruiting.

Yes. He’s don’t a phenomenal job along with his recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow recruiting Ohio.
That’s my concern though, he’s found a niche in recruiting to Kentucky. Idk how much it translates to LSU.

A few weeks ago Steven Godfrey was saying that LSU is going to reset the market on coaching salaries, that Woodward is a "gangster" that is "going to steal your wife".

Stoops (mostly Marrow who would follow unless he got a head coach job) is a great recruiter and evaluator.
His on the field coaching and in game decision making is what keeps him from being elite and what will eventually get him fired from a place with higher expectations.
