BK has worked with him for so long and relies on him for roster management and recruiting that I doubt he’ll be fired. More likely he’ll be reassigned. Which won’t happen until you have your new ST coach ready to go, which may not be for weeks or even after the February signing date.

I don't know that it truly cost us any games, but I can't remember seeing LSU special teams this bad before and we've had some not so great special teams in the past. We're certainly going to need better if we're going to seriously challenge for the SEC next year.

Should have fired him after Tennessee game. We’ll see how stubborn CBK really is depending on how long he stays. The dude flat out sucks

The FSU game is pretty obvious, but neither our offense or defense were playing good for decent chunks of that game. I don't know for sure if we're able to capitalize given other opportunities.I would like to think we do, but I'm not absolutely sure.
Tennessee is a completely different game without the muff, but still, I don't know if we win the game without it.
We weren't really in the Georgia game at any point in the second half, so as bad as it was, it didn't really cost us the game.
Again, like I said though, we will have to be much better to get to where we want to be.

0-0 game after a 14 play drive then a blocked fg returned for a touchdown.
We were in it until that point. Hell the next drive was when boutte scored.

Than GA came right back and scored. Then again, and again. That wasn't what cost us the Georgia game. Look, I'm not defending the special teams, so arguing that is just wasting time. The special teams were atrocious. My point was that if you take away all of the miscues, I don't know that our record is any different. That's not taking up for the special teams. It's really a tip of the cap to the rest of the team for doing what they did this season despite what they've had to overcome. What I haven't even brought up is where this team would be with a viable punt returner. Having a 15 yard return average on punts would likely have won us 1, possibly 2 of the games that we didn't win.

Also was close to costing LSU the florida game.
But in ST’s defense a FG sealed the florida game for LSU.

He is suppose to be an excellent recruiter. If so, kick him to exclusive recruiting role upstairs (cooking BBQ) and hire someone who can manage the team on the field. The error in the SEC Champ game was just unexcusable and poor coaching, even Kelley admited to that.
