Don't see how this lessens the chances for Miles, either
I disagree. The only way michigan gets Miles is if they make a strong push right away and make him think he's their man. If Miles thinks he's 3rd on the list, he'll tell them "no thanks". I don't see him waiting around only to be their leftovers. He's got a big recruiting class to finish up and, let's be honest, there are more reasons for him to stay at LSU than take over at the dumspter fire called Michigan.

Harbaugh is waiting to see if the Falcons win their division.

Miles wanted agreement from LSU and Michigan to coach his last game with the team in a bowl game.

Colin said it will be this weekend

I think you are correct as least not anytime soon.

Griese says he thinks it will be another 2 weeks before Michigan hires its coach. If that is the case I don't think it will be Miles.
If so, they know who it will be and are just keeping it under wraps.

Seriously don't bring that crap to the board when you have absolutely zero knowledge regarding that statement!!!!
LSU would never allow it, too much to lose on the recruiting side. If Alleva were to allow it than we should drop all buyout clauses for Miles as long as Michigan takes Alleva also!!! Miles wasn't fired he would be quitting, LSU is not stupid enough to allow that.

Lulz, Michigan would not wait a month for him to coach in a fleabag bowl (save your jokes about Michigan's bowl game) and LSU would not let him stick around for it.

Well said, couldn't agree more. If Miles is truly their man then they need to push for it right now and back the truck up. If Miles feels he isn't their first and truly wanted pick, he has too much talent going forward at LSU and he is too egotistical to take the Big Blue Trash Can job.

Doubt the 49ers will let Harbaugh walk without getting anything in return, hence putting him on the trading block like they did

Michigan has swung and missed twice in its last 2 hires. I don't think 2 weeks means anything other than them studying their options once or twice or 3 times.
I don't see Miles going at 61 to rebuild a program when he has one filled with so much young talent. I would think he would hang here for another 3-5 yrs and then cash it in.

and he will quickly be cooped up by one of the many NFL teams seeking a new HC.

i still think Harbaugh leaves even if they do make the playoffs....unless they make a SuperBowl run.
him and management do not like each other at all
He's definitely leaving just not to go to a college job.
