Kentucky hired Liam Coen today. He responded by saying this is a chance of a lifetime.

He has no previous experience as an offensive coordinator in division one or in the NFL.

He has historically been successful in recruiting no where in the nation.

He is also a soulless Ginger.

Dont knock it. Joe brady had pretty much the same resume.

Including being a soulless ginger.

Irresponsible hire!

They hired a guy who worked for the Rams and has experience with a qb prodigy.

He was a pass game coordinator at UMass. OC at Maine. Was hired at the OC at Holy Cross before being hired by the Rams

Basically he has a better resume than Joe Brady had when he was hired by LSU. That hire seemed to work out for LSU.

I get you are dense. I'd rather LSU make a hire right now like Kentucky did over Ensminger. But hey pump your narrative.

I think that’s some faulty logic teams fall for

There’s a laundry list of Saban/Belichick guys that turned out to be dog shite once they left that program

I don’t see the problem with this hire for Kentucky

no more faulty than assuming this guy is a trash hire because he never was an OC at a D1 school

i know next to nothing about this guy but he seems like he has a decent resume and i would assume he interviewed well. nothing you can really say outside of that, not really a hire worth critiquing imo

Yeah and I wasn’t trying to say that’s sound logic either

I just think of the Bengals hiring their coach last year bc he shook hands with McVay for a couple seasons and was young. Jury is still out on that one but I don’t think he’s a home run. Teams got a little out of hand trying to duplicate the recipe with a lower level chef instead of trying to reverse engineer that success into something that fits what they are looking for

This is a solid fence swing by Kentucky

absolutely. trying to force your way into finding "the next" of a generational coach is dumb cause its next to impossible to do so
