Brad Brownell makes the most sense at Indiana

I’m a big Indiana Basketball guy, and while Brownell is a good coach, and has ascended Clemson, he’s been there since roughly 2010 and just recently got it going.

That would be a pretty underwhelming hire for most Indiana fans. I don’t think Bruce Pearl is realistic, but IU needs to look no further than 4 guys and 4 guys only.

1. Brad Stevens
2. Chris Beard
3. Will Wade
4. Dusty May

In that order. Anyone of those guys would be a home run. My gut tells me Chris Beard heads to Bloomington, if the IU administration can turn their back on his past which IU has a hard time doing historically.

Scott Drew didn’t seem realistic after a National Title but with Baylor having a down season, it’s gotten stale there and maybe it’s an option?

Brad Stevens seems like pure fantasy unless he’s having some midlife crisis we don’t know about

It's a damn shame they didn't push Woodson out after last year. I understand why they didn't but the writing was on the wall and May would have been perfect. Still, if they REALLY want him I bet they can have him.

You make the call because he is from Indiana, but he hasn't coached in 4 years. He hasn't coached college basketball in over 10. He's not jumping back into coaching. Particularly in the mess that is college sports today.

Most likely candidate if they want him. He won't be cheap and will leverage the Ole Miss job (and potentially others) for everything he can...but he was never going to be an Ole Miss lifer.

Indiana probably has sights set higher, but (a) it's unlikely they pull a big name (outside of maybe Beard) and (b) his resume speaks for itself.

1 year too late. He would think hard about the job, but I don't think he leaves Michigan after just one year. Plus, Indiana may not want to hire a "Indiana" guy this go round.
