If I'm on the BoS, I remind Orgeron and The Search of the promise to hire "the very best coordinators." I then MAKE them tell me that Steve Ensminger is "one of the best offensive coordinators in college football." If they can do so with a straight face, I probably say, "OK, fellas, but I'm going to remember this conversation."

That, or cut bait with Orgeron right now. They are not going to do that.

So, it's Ensminger. Huge promise broken, less than rosy prospects moving forward.

I haven't posted that same thing yet. I guess if this search drags on long enough everyone on TD can get a chance to repeat it. At least 80 percent has so far.

This is a very repeated narrative here for a while. Yet it doesn't bother me to keep hearing it because it's true. All I know is that this mf'er needs to be burned down if we don't bring in an outside OC. I know history proves me otherwise, but it's still hard for me to fathom and believe that our administration is really so self destructive...

Tough spot for the BOS. They created this monster, and probably favored him because they thought he could be controlled. Now they're trying to control it and they can't. Orgeron really owns them for this year and probably next year. If this next season runs off the rails, heads are going to roll.

Push comes to shove, he's going to get what he wants and that's probably Ensminger. It's the lesser of two bad choices. Give him Ensminger, it's probably not going to work out. Give him a coach he doesn't want or trust, it's definitely not going to work out.

Y'all know that almost half the BOS didn't even graduate from LSU?

I bet several of them absolutely don't give two shits about the OC.

They care about their spots on the board though.

They're in for a set number of years until the term finishes out correct?

Any way to apply this same principle to the BOS?

LOL

More than half never went to LSU and 3/4 don’t give a shite about sports.

It’s a joke.

As noted previously, 0 now has all the rope he needs to hang himself. They are doing things the way he wants it...LOL. Well, color me impressed if he actually knows what he wants. I guess we'll have a much better idea whether Coach Corndog knows what he wants, forget what he's doing, come the Miami game.

Baw, baw, baw...Naw, naw, naw...
