I don't see that as a good thing. I think they should steer into the skid and keep hiring guys that are just a little bit away from a bigger job. They're the modern cradle of coaches. They should embrace that.
This does line up more with their m.o. than when there were rumors about Frank Wilson, however brief they were. Anderson is an established coordinator, not just a position coach.

Texas folks need to head on up to ark state and learn how to hire a football coach. Ark st knows how to do it, of course they have had a lot of practice the past few years.
