And yet, some of you claim this is the top job in the country. The powers at that school are halarious.

Per his interview on CFB live.

UT is good at 2 things, well 3. Destroying conferences, making money, and making themselves look like complete idiots in the process.

Can't wait for the melt when HeGone.... Home to Tuscaloosa.

That's not the point. You don't give a TV interview, say this, and then fire your coach. Assuming that's what he does.

The point is that School/AD says a bunch of things that make for good quotes in the local paper. Texas media laps it up without question. Have been doing it for years to promote an image.

He gone. It is just a sugar coat for the time being. People who buy in to the narrative do so at their own peril...

They probably got turned down, so are now trying to buy time for another name to surface.

You might however, say this, convince Brown to step aside without burning any bridges.

Jeeze, its politics. The Prez praises the coach whom he knows is going to resign (most likely within 24 hours) and show his "unwaivering" support, knowing full well that Mack is leaving as planned. Nobody ever accused Bill Powers of knowing much about football coaches.

Mack is gone. That is only lipstick on the pig. hes getting fired/retired/reassigned, whatever they do once shelf life has expired out there.

Most likely Saban told them to get fricked so they are having mack act like a petulant spoiled shart to buy time to put together a list of 2nd rate possibilities.

who it wont be:
Saban
Sumlin
Miles
Meyer
Any NFL coach
Strong
Shaw
