His name was one of the first ones that LSU would look at according to what some of the talking heads were saying when Orgeron was fired. It got the predictable backlash and kind of disappeared. I think the Riley stuff is real and he may or may not have told LSU no depending on who you listen to, let's just suppose that he did. Now Mikie Mahtook said on Culotta's show it was kind of like the Pat Casey situation. But he sounded like he thought Casey was a legit candidate and I don't he was and I don't think BoB is here either. Woodward knows his audience. He had to have known there was no way people in this part of country would accept a coach who accepted a pedophile on his team. Again he knows his audience, with LSU's strong Houston connections enough of LSU money people and fans had a close up look at BoB and would not be happy with him as the hire. So I think it is a calculated smoke screen dropped by some of Woodward's close confidants so he can work on the deal for the real coach who very may be Napier. They also mentioned that Napier was supposed to be on the show at 9:15 Wed. morning but at 9:13 called and said he couldn't come on.
