Still better than that turd they got in Florida.
Good to know you hate America and Freedom
LSU is better Program but the decline of BR makes it close. Gainesville isn't great though.

so we can go back to dominating the east and west. Those were fun years.
LSU and Florida have never won their respective divisions in the same season.

Have you watched LSU’s young guys play? They held Alabama to 6 yards rushing and have the worst team in recent memory. Pretty sure LSU’s talent is on par with UF if not better.

Not really. They are simply for freedom. You know, what our country was founded on.

UF historically has had to fight with FSU and Miami for recruits, though that doesn't appear to be the case as much anymore. As long as Miami and FSU stay down, UF is one of the top jobs. Their administration is 100% invested in that football program.

FL, FSU, and Miami were all constantly highly ranked in the 90's and early 2000 and it was fun for college football.
Yes, that's because they were coming into Louisiana and taking recruits. Warrick Dunn, Travis Minor, Ed Reed, Ike Hilliard should've all been LSU guys.

I highly enjoyed watching miami/fsu game every year when they were good

I think it’s really in the eye of the beholder and what their priorities are. The fact is, the right guy wins championships at both schools. They are both top-tier jobs and are set up for success.

No, but the winner of that game had some pretty decent success.

LSU because of less in state recruiting competition. Recent evidence of life (2019) also.

Will you please STFU about politics? Like religion, no one gives a flying frick about your perspective on politics and it has nothing at all to do with the coaching search.
If you want to talk politics there’s a board for that. fricking loser.
Amen. The weird fricks will bring politics into everything.
Eta: But I think it’s a wash. There’s pros & cons to both but I think that they’re both pretty comparable.

Bout the same from a program perspective….significantly better state than LA though

Trying to be objective so its a tie. If people want to bang on BR for not being a great city to live in Gainesville is not all that much either. It’s not like you’re at a beach city. Recruiting is deeper in Florida but no competition in LA. Both jobs are pretty much equal
Posted on 11/21/21 at 12:46 pm to Syntax
Agreed. Both jobs have tremendous advantages which come out to about the same

I would say Florida. Its population keeps growing so talent won't be a problem even with having Miami and FSU in the state. UF is in a better position to recruit nationally as well. Everyone else in the rest of the country likes the State of Florida to some degree. The State of Florida is associated with great year-round weather, tourist attractions, beaches, big cities, and a lifestyle that most find positive. Louisiana in some ways is still behind Florida economically and socially.
