Why do posters beat their chest when they are right on a coin flip based on a decision that the man making the decision hadn't 100% decided until thirty minutes ago.

BP is like the Oracle from the Matrix.

He tells you exactly what you need to hear even though you don't know what he is telling you.

He said he was 90% certain Les was staying.

Of course he said nobody knew for certain what was going to happen but Les.

How the frick was he wrong? Right after the bowl game he said he was almost positive les was staying and that the plane here in baton rouge at the time was 100% not Michigan related, even though it was stickied. He was 100% right considering all the people that were wrong

I believe he has been right along as well.
Said a few weeks ago that they are re doing Miles contract that won't involve a raise, but just added incentives.

My point of view can quickly be changed if he says that Miles is going to interview Steve Kragthorpe once again. Jesus.

Except his "educated guess" is correct 95% of the time. I'll take those odds all day long.

Unless you can predict better than that, shut your pie hole.

You can't seriously believe this? Les has known for weeks that he was not going to take the Michigan job. He needed his name linked to the job to get the "security" of whatever buyouts/promises are in his new contract. I'm not saying he's wrong for doing it, I think it's a very smart move. However, Les and his agent have known all along that he wanted to stay in Baton Rouge.

Sooooo, maybe Belowpar is Les' agent.

Actually, he said 90 to 95% IIRC. Dude was pretty consistent that CLM wanted to stay here. belowpar also basically said that CLM had not been in in-depth negotiations with UM, and that he would sit down and listen to them after the bowl game.

THIS while everyone else with a 'source' claimed that CLM to UM was done, that he was gone pecan last weekend, and that the meeting with UM was a formality to CLM accepting the job. CharlesLSU (forget what his name actually is), a former football player who I have a lot of respect for, was adamant the other night that belowpar was very wrong and that CLM was gone.

Well, look what happened. After the bowl game, CLM said his reps had some back channel contact with UM and that he'd sit down with them and hear them out. Which he did. And then he said 'no thanks'.

No done deal. No extensive back channel behind the scenes agreement before the bowl. IE, everyone's sources were wrong.

belowpar also said some things (when he was discussing the OC interviews) about CLM's contract that seem to be playing out.

Bottom line: Everyone insisted CLM was gone, and they cited their 'sources', or better yet, their 'deductive reasoning'. belowpar always said he thought CLM wanted to stay. Looks like CLM wanted to stay at LSU.
