re: Scotland Trip

We went this summer and played:

Kingsbarn- incredible track

New course- forgettable

Old course- the history makes it great. Outside of 1,17,18 somewhat forgettable. Course is a cluster with all the double greens, people and golf balls flying everywhere. Fore being screamed by groups all over the course

Carnoustie-hardest course I’ve ever played. Conditions were absolutely pristine. But was a beatdown

Prestwick-home of the first 10 British opens. Incredibly quirky course but one of my favorites of the trips. Caddies were fantastic

Dundonald- good conditions but compared to everything else underwhelming.

Royal troon-incredible

Turnberry-favorite course. Got to play if you are there

Bucket list trip. Everyone should go once. Prepare yourself. Food sucks in Scotland. The restaurant 18 which is at top of hotel right on 18 on the old course had a great view and bar. Food was serviceable. Steak barn was a must. One of our caddies from kingsbarn was a member of the old course and he meet us after our round there and took us to their club to have drinks after our round which was great. Need to go eat at Dunvegan as well. Every restaurant you eat at you have to order sticky toffee pudding. It’s the best thing you will eat in Scotland. Everything else is pretty bad but you are there for the golf not the food.

Played Lochinvar a year or so ago as an unaccompanied guest. Had a caddie. We make the turn and didn’t stop at the clubhouse. On #11 i turn to the caddie and ask where is the next bathroom shack. Caddie says there isn’t any. Tells me to just pee outside. Trying to be a polite guest i declined, and he says “this is a men’s only club, pissing outside is encouraged”. Course is fantastic. Great track.
So you made up a stat that was off by 500% and posted it as fact. I have never once heard of a person with the means to have medical care anywhere in the world choose a different country than the US.
My man. Please show me where physician wages is 50% of healthcare dollars. The actual number is 9%.
Due to the location of where the nerves are blocked it is much more likely that the numbness you are experiencing is related to surgical manipulation or the way you were positioned during the procedure. However, your surgeon will of course look to place the blame on someone else. But yes, with time, it should improve.

Update: it was the thermal fuse. $11 part and 3 minutes and back to new. Thanks for the input

Paging Napoleon: re dryer help

I have a Maytag Centennial dryer, Model MEDc300BW0 . Probably 5 years old. Load of laundry finished. Went to start next, won’t turn on. Does nothing at all. Light inside drum still comes on when door is opened. Any thoughts? Thermal fuse? Lint catch was pretty saturated.
If it’s a hip replacement you need, you need to go to Shardhar in Shreveport. The anterior approach to the hip replacement is the way to go. Shardhar is the first author on the paper that first described the approach with his mentor Mata out at USC. You will not be disappointed
