Yeah speaking of Random it would be nice to hear an update from him. He made that post the other day saying Jimbo was #1 and Herman #2 but then in another thread he said Herman was #1. I am wondering if something changed or what.

I said Jimbo #1, Herman #2, Shaw #3. From what ive heard the Jimbo ship might have sailed. Herman is the Number 1 right now. Haven't heard anything about Shaw since the news first broke about Miles.
FWIW I still stand by my prediction that Jimbo was going to be our coach after the A&M game last year. Neither of my 2 sources were in the 3rdQ meeting. I had no clue FKing pulled the rip cord. It was a done deal. Jimbo was in, LSU was in. I couldn't get info on a last second change.

nobody knew shite here. not you, me or anybody else. My old source was an ex-LSU lineman who i am not in contact with anymore so i had no info on it. Those two (random and DA) were right you can spin it however you want. We will never be able to prove it one way or the other regardless. You can believe what you want. Yeah I believe you. I wasn't saying I didn't just wanted to hear an update. Hopefully the news about Jimbo isn't true. Do you know how confident they feel about Herman?

They will give him a sexy title and a raise and pray that there wont be a messy break up like with USC. That situation seems very similar to this but they are more different than you might realize. I think O would have to run the table while maintaining a top 5 recruiting class. Basically he needs the perfect storm. I think he could win out and lose the bowl game too. Even if he runs the table tho, and Herman wants the job, I think Herman gets the job. Basically O would have to have a great run and Herman and Jimbo would have to decline the position.

I was told that he is a very calculated person... the money, the contract, the particulars and ancillaries will have to be right. If that happens, I think he will be the next coach.

Dang talk about pressure on Alleva and the boosters to get it right. Sucks that if he says no we may have missed chances on him and Jimbo. You woulf think if Jimbo wanted the job last year he would take it again. Thanks for the info Random.
