afraid they will get Chaney.
Everyone kind of assumed that this was happening after Pittman was hired but we seem to be moving away from this. Who knows though.

Seems Long and Briles would be better fits with what you currently have. Dearman is a Gus protege and seems he would have the same issues with production Chad had for at least a year or two since Morris only got 1 spread recruiting class.
To be honest, we only have bits and pieces of an offense right now, so it really doesn't matter. Our OL is our biggest problem on that side.

Do Long or Briles have any Arkansas connections?
Long was a GA here under Petrino. Don't think there are any connections with Briles.

This was a pretty big move. HC experience to help Pittman and he will have time to really oversee the Defense. Hopefully he can help close on some defensive recruits.

He’s an abysmal executive. If Pittman is leaning on Odom for program management help, he’ll be gone faster than you can say, “Chad Morris.”

I'm pretty sure PIttman can manage the program. Especially if he doesn't have to worry about the Defense at all. Odom will take over everything about the defense. He is solid there.
Lets see who he gets for Offense. He is a good man and folks will want to work for him.
Odom is a top 25-30 D guy at worst with a high ceiling.

I don't think Pittman will have a problem with program management.
Chad's blunders will be valued by present and future generations of coaches everywhere as a reminder to not do what Chad did.

Does it really matter what that clown show program does?

I don't know, but maybe hiring good coaches and trying to not be a clown show would be a idea.....what we are doing.

Who is Harry Potter hiring to be Mizzou’s DC?
Posted on 12/16/19 at 7:45 pm to the808bass
actually, I heard odom Is able to double dip here because of the contract language. Is that correct?
Posted on 12/17/19 at 12:02 am to Razorback Reverend
I do not believe so. He was only owed his base salary for the years left which was 2 or 3 X $600k and change. And his original contract had the usual offset language of his total compensation from his new employer.
