If you think Arky is gonna match 2-2.5m per year to be the dc then u don’t have a clue. How much your HC make again?
Offer him then.
Odom sits at 5th highest paid at 1.75 mil at Arkansas. 2.5 mil would make him the highest paid with Venables.

Simply one of the best DC's in the country. Would be a true steal if BK could pull that off.

It's cringy how much you LSU fans sound like TX or Ohio State fans. No, you won't get him and you can't outbid AR if they really need to beat it to keep him. Problem for you is, he's not motivated by money. Same with Pittman.
Odom turns down big raise
Odom and Briles both are staying put until they get head coaching opportunities again. And they will sooner rather than later.

Blown away you arky fans actually believe anyone would want to be at Arkansas over LSU given the opportunity.
If it is solely about football, LSU is mountains ahead of Arkansas. If it is about anything else, quality of life, part of country, etc. then Arkansas is superior to LSU in every facet.

I don't see Odom wanting to move from Fayetteville to Baton Rouge. He's been very happy at Arkansas and turned down LSU once already. Some dudes are good where they're at and just throwing more money doesn't really change their mind.

End of next year? Both can't get the Arkansas job though.

Odom literally turned y'all down last year
I think it was blatantly obvious by who he ended up hiring that nobody wanted to work for Ed Orgeron.

I wasn't meaning the AR job specifically.

I don't think we really need a DC , but he would be a solid hire. I would much rather poach Briles. OC is a bigger need. Jones will have the D ranked in the 20s or 30s next year

You mean, Odom turned down a job to come work for a coach with one foot out the door? Shocking…
I would be careful comparing last year to this year.
LSU has proven winner with a 10-year contract and a football office with money to burn - it may have you eating those words.

He also turned down the DC job at Texas last year for more money to join Sark's new staff.

We could snag any coach on your staff and not even think twice about it.

You literally got turned down last year. How is this so complicated?
Also, Odom’s kid is going to be a senior in high school next year. He’s not leaving until the kid graduates.
