You can easily bring those guys back now b/c the culture and program is in a different state than it was 2+ years ago.

maybe 1, but both would be an interesting move and a bad look imo

Granted total defense isn't the end all to grading a DC but he's dramatically improved Missouris defense since he took over.

Agree they're improved but it's not like they were stellar. Their improved run game with that RB probably helped with their ball control and defensive field position, as well as playing in the bad SEC East. But I also remember Jayden running up and down the field on them at will on their home turf, so it's fair to say they were far from great.

Not to mention him shopping around.

I’d be ok with NOT bringing Raymond back

Jayden ran up and down the field on every team we played.

How do you judge a DC on one game against the heisman winner? I'm not even sold on it being Baker, but I don't understand why you're downplaying what he has done at Missou in two years.

Maybe Raymond gets his job back but no way he rehires Baker now to run the show on defense imo

You seem to think it would makes sense to bring Raymond back home based on your posts here, but not Baker. Baker has had much more success in his time since leaving lsu, even getting a promotion to DC and doing well in the role. What has Raymond done at UF or his last few years at lsu that scream he is going to make our DB room elite?

Agreed, re-hiring either of those guys at this critical juncture in BK's career would among other things be admitting he made a mistake and like it or not but guys like Brian Kelly don't admit to mistakes.

Semantics I suppose Coach could have wanted you but didn’t and sent you packing

Not exactly, Kelley did not hire therefore did not fire them

Kelley’s job one was making a healthy roster and improving culture. How can you make those changes with previous staff. Now that we have a healthier roster and on our way to culture improvement he can reevaluate and interview previous staff

Mizzou gave up around 30 to teams with a pulse, I wouldn’t suggest his Ds were great. Solid, but not great

I don’t want Raymond but yes it does make more sense to hire back someone in a similar capacity.
