Auburn looking at Austin Davis for OC

Currently in his first year as the QB coach for the Seahawks. Not sure how far down the road they are yet.

Has Russell Wilson improved under Austin Davis? He had the most interceptions in his career in 2020.

Have no clue, and I can't answer if Austin Davis is a good coach or not. I was just correcting the inaccurate info about his time as a QB coach.
I think Harsin is setting up to call plays and wanted a young up and comer as the QB coach. I think he feels he could develop into a good recruiter is what Harsin is looking at.
I'm not here to have a pissing contest about whose coaches are better. Auburn is either in a major rebuilding mode to match Harsin's persona, or we are in a free fall. I just hope Harsin get's the time and resources to build it the way he dreams of doing.
I personally support Harsin and will be patient to see what he can bring to the Plains. I think he needs a good 5- 6 years. I also knew it would get uncomfortable and difficult to watch the process. Let's see what happens???

This is where I am. Harsin has a great track record as OC. We just need a QB coach and someone to game plan. Davis seems to fit this bill.

Carroll has to see something in Davis to hire him on as an Assistant QB coach and then keep him on as QB coach two years running.
I don't think it's a role he is going to just throw a guy in as a gift or something.

I honestly don’t think our fan base, boosters, or trustees are sophisticated enough to allow the rebuild required to reset our program and give that time to Harsin. I hope I’m wrong.
