there was a significant percentage of the base that were opposed to him based on the whole hookers/NCAA probation thing
then there were those of us who (correctly) recognized that he was a mediocre HC with a outdated offensive strategy who wouldn’t have even been seriously considered for the AU gig had he not managed to beat Saban twice almost a decade earlier
but the so-called PTB were convinced he was the Second Coming and went All In after Sexton bait-and-switched us

I think Freeze will have them at 10 wins next season. They're on the cusp and their record is misleading.

They had the bad stars align against them in a couple of games. Everyone gets bad flags/reviews/calls go against them, they had 3 of those in the Oklahoma game right out of the gate. They could be 6-2 right now without bad calls, and their players play hard and are gritty. Seemingly team culture is good and getting better. Complete opposite of what started happening with LSU. Freeze has them going in right direction, just doesn’t reflect in the record.
