Honestly this is what EJ was at Auburn. I think what is a tad bit different is WM will get full control of who he wants to hire.

You must not be too familiar with Auburn writers especially on Rivals and 247.

But WM would have a lot of control over the defense, hell any DC we hire will. Gus loves his offense.

No, this is how Malzahn was with Ellis, more or less, and how he'll be with Muschamp, if he decides on Auburn.

He's not going to give control over to every single thing no questions asked, but the DC will certainly be in charge of basically everything on the defensive side of the ball, and that's the way Malzahn prefers it.
