If Stricklin can land Frost, all will be forgiven. If he can't, he needs to be fired

If Nebraska loses out on frost it would be devastating to the program and they may not recover

Come on Nebraska get him before it’s too late.

So much on the line for a guy who has literally only had two seasons as a head coach

If SS waited this long to have a backup plan ready, he should be fired

I won’t begin to worry about that until Nebraska fires their current coach. Which better happen within the next week if they stand the chance.

The Frost family wants him at Nebraska. My wifes family is close with a very close realitive of his. Paradgrim (prob mispelled) seems to have some close connections as well and seems pretty confident he goes to neb. I have heard otherwise. Granted its 3rd hand, but he is already a "hero" at neb. He doesnt want to be a zero.

Regardless of everything. Money talks. Neb has fired what would be 4 coaches in like 10 years. Not sure how their $ situation is. A fact is that nebraska cant afford to not hire him at all costs. If Frost goes somewhere else and is elite it will be devastating.

I love the coaching rumor season.

hate to say it but i'm starting to wonder if spurrier and stricklin didn't cook up a little smokescreen, especially considering kelly and frost have the same firm representing them.

spurrier says the guy is still coaching. but everything points to kelly. meanwhile same agent / firm would be at either meeting for frost or kelly.

maybe they've been working to keep the heat off of frost while he tries to finish an undefeated regular season. perhaps he's been the mark all along.

Me too!

Hilarious sideshow with glorious delusions of grandeur, full of rumors, twists & turns, equally glorious melts, and more dominoes falling.

. . . . .

Your day is coming TidalSurge. The melt at Bama when Saban retires is going to be glorious.

Not really. Alabama hired one of the best AD’s in the country. He’s going to make a good hire. Living up to insane expectations will be th melt.

Won't matter. Alabama may have 10 years of losing seasons after Saban. They may not. Either way, if history tells us anything, Alabama will be back.
