Guys, the situation is still fluid and definitely not a done deal. Aranda could be looking for a reason to stay and obviously a raise, but it wouldn’t have gotten this far if A&M wasn’t a serious contender.

But a lot of you are hitting the nail on the head. The fact that Aranda is even considering this is a huge concern for the LSU faithful. It shows a complete lack in confidence in his chain of command from the head coach to the AD. It really shows how bad the circumstances are. I can tell you that at least one of your regents is not happy with the AD and I believe Alleva’s job is 100% tied to Orgeron.

That being said you are not likely to pull Woodward from A&M anytime soon. He just committed A&M to 100 million dollars and wants to see it though.

why would that be O's fault. It would clearly be about money. Either the school has to pay what it takes or make the sacrifice. If AM is willing to pay a ridiculous amount, not O's fault. Aranda at AM will never beat LSU.

You would pay him what he wants or make him the head coach.

I spoke with a current LSU coach. According to this person Aranda has not indicated that he is going anywhere and while he and O have had disagreements it wasn't like the stuff with Canada.
He doesn't think Aranda would leave unless something drastic happened but does believe 2018 will be his last year at LSU.

Of course it's not about Money

It's about the AD acting like he is HC and calling weekly fricking chat sessions in his office

oh and the DC's direct boss is a moron

You people don't know what the man is considering or not and neither does the person who started that damn rumor. People INSIDE LSU, who have covered LSU for years since I've been watching LSU have said there is no smoke to this. This is the dumbest rumor ever. Texas ATM has nowhere near the talent we have. He knows that.

O isn’t intelligent enough to be ordering either Canada or Aranda around. He’d have the easiest job in the world if he just sat back and let his coordinators game plan and only intervene if they are not doing that to the best of their ability.

The news broke about him a couple of days earlier and it was about his contract

A&M doesn’t have a moron as a head coach and an AD who constantly interferes. Don’t underestimate that fact.

Nah. I actually knew a player on defense that year and they knew Chavis was leaving.

2. Venables is his replacement. Anyone else is a step back.

why would Venables want to come to LSU and coach with zerO when it's a dumpster fire?

Bruh stop. Y'all made a desperate arse move paying 75 mil to a coach who just went 6-5 and quit on his team basically because he knew that money bag was coming. You ATM fans try to hard.

if Aranda bolts we are done till we clean house.

Aranda leaving for a conference foe would be the ultimate slap in the dick.

I choose to give your post extra weight based on your all-capping of the word "INSIDE."
