talk about living in the moment. Mind you Aranda inherited a 11 win Baylor team from Rhule. Let’s not act like Aranda has built this program

But Riley has been at OK long enough to know this his completely his team, culture, and players

I’ve been following this board pretty consistently since the search opened and I’ve noticed, anecdotally, Aranda is as popular as anyone and even the people who may not want him above others, he is always in their top 2-3.

I’m not living in any moment. I wouldn’t have been upset with Aranda getting the head coaching spot over Orgeron in 16. I just think he’s going to be a great head coach. We already know what Jimbo is and that’s pretty average. Aranda has potentially very high ceiling and I like him as an option. It has nothing to do with this moment.

Making Orgeron interim and not Aranda was the top worst move Alleva made as AD

Yep.
I don’t believe anyone would hate the hire.

My main worry about Aranda is whether he would be able to recruit at a big-time SEC School like LSU. Does a meek quiet guy like Aranda resonate with SEC type athletes? I just don't see it.

You have to have some kind of personality to recruit

Agreed.

You can also just freaking be a good football team, stack wins, produce NFL players, and have good recruiters on staff. You don't have to be a used car salesman to be a good college coach.
