Agree.

You can't be a good football team, stack wins, and produce NFL players without landing Big Time recruits. Look at the Saban model

Who is your choice willie?

Riley first, which most likely isn't happening anyway, and then Napier. Napier is solid and has a bigger personality than Aranda

I don't think you realize how many kids are swayed by their position coach/recruiter.

You really think being cerebral connects with recruits. He better just make sure he has some damn good position coach recruiters

I think recruiting is my biggest concern with Aranda, but Napier hasn't proven he can recruit at a higher level than Aranda. And to pick a coach because they have a "bigger personality" is laughable.
I mean, you assume because Napier can get low tier 3* guys to ULL he's automatically going to be able to grab 5* guys at LSU? That's a huge leap.

Recruiting is my biggest concern about Aranda as well and recruiting is damn near everything college football. Other than that I would be happy with the hire and I have a lot more faith in the people making this choice then my own evaluations

We gotta get out of Riley's buyout first.

Were you saying this after Aranda lost to TCU last week?
Posted on 11/13/21 at 5:47 pm to Ptguru21
I have been saying it since the Baylor win over UT

LSU fans literally just lived through Orgeron. How can you argue this?

Well, Ed isn’t a very good recruiter despite people’s thoughts to the contrary.
