Judging by the number of players Aranda put in the NFL- I'd say his recruiting is just fine. He's my clear number 1.

All the elite programs that are in similar geographic areas are pretty much all recruiting the same players. All of those so called wrong players or me too players were recruited heavily by Alabama and the other top schools as well.
The only way you don’t recruit the same players as bama is if you try to find diamonds in the rough. Now if you look for players that aren’t what you call me first players then they will be your lower ranked recruits.
I mean, give me a name and if it’s someone who is a me first guy and i bet he was offered by all the top teams.
It’s culture , you have to take the guys you manage to land over other big time schools and coach them to be team first

You mean those whose parents won't make special requests to protect their son from a bad season. Then, change their minds when it seems like playing is a good opportunity to be spotlighted as a savior?
Team First!

Yes, he’s a terrible recruiter. Probably can’t coach a lick of offense either. Doubt you would want him. Guess we will just have to be stuck with Dave.

Aranda really is my favorite coach. I think ever. He is such a silent assassin.
Would be a tremendous hire for USC if not LSU. Is there any chance he would stay at Baylor?

And see Spencer sit on bench.

Florida and lsu recruited the wrong type of guys last few years. Me first players wont ever win in a team game
Disagree. They hired the wrong type of Head Coach.
Just because a player is elite doesn't disqualify him from being a leader and team player. Sheep and cowards think this way.
Me first is being capable of contributing to the team, but choosing to sit (i.e. redshirt) when the position is extremely thin at a position of need. Culture problem.

I bet Napier, at 9-1, has fewer 4* players than Arizona, too.
It's weird how these guys are picking and choosing which metrics they want to apply to which candidates.

Less was not my most favorite coach, but he always spoke of CHEST. In the past two years the shiny object has been the norm. The not for long league spends the time and capitol on how a player can contribute mentally and physically. Some colleges tend to look at physicality not mental awareness.

Give me a coach who can develop 2-3* over a coach who can’t win big games with 4-5*
You have king recruiter at GA and they consistently fall on their face in peak pressure.
