Why Herman? You realize Jeff Grimes is tearing it up in his first year as Baylor OC? His offense is why the team is winning this season. He did the same thing at BYU with Zach Wilson. Maybe he gets a HC gig, but if not we want him.

You aren't getting two guys as coordinators that will each command ~2.5/year. Especially given the fact that Aranda, if hired, would be the defacto DC and Muschamp isn't going to come here to hold his coffee. No need for this with Aranda as HC. That’s the whole point in having a HC who locks down one side of the ball.
It will be Aranda’s defense. All he will need for DC is a young protege with an economical salary.
