Vindicated how? BOB and Watson didn't have any issue and he signed Watson to a huge extension. Unless you think he made a terrible Hopkins trade as some kind of punishment for Watson.

What? Did you WATCH the Texans over his time as coach?
He went to the playoffs in his first 3 years with 3 different QBs, won the division a few times, had more playoff appearances than not. He was 52-48 in his time as HC. As I stated, very much like Marvin Lewis at Cincinnati. Good teams, playoff appearances, but never much playoff success. An okay/decent, above average performance as HC during his time.
The fact that anyone suggests he was some uniquely horrible beyond normal head coach really has no clue what they're talking about.

While he was certainly hated in Houston at the time, Bud Adam’s moved the Oilers to Tennessee in 1997, almost a quarter of a century ago. I would imagine a majority of people living in Houston today couldn’t tell you who Bud Adam’s is.
