The only person I know with one million percent confidence that it isn’t is Petersen.
This years recruiting class has been talking to Woodward and asking him who it’s gonna be, Woodward wanted to be able to give them a name so bad , just to keep the class together, but at the time he just wasn’t positive, he didn’t have his guy all along . He apparently does now, but he didn’t a little while back and if it was Petersen he would have known and would have loved to be able to tell recruits and players.
The whole situation doesn’t fit Petersen

I think it would be a good hire, but its not happening.
Petersen is a guy who likes laying low, out of the spotlight. That's why he stayed at Boise for so long and when he went to UW - you could tell he wasn't a fan of the increased exposure. Imagine 10x that at LSU.
