Maybe to SD, where he could reunite Rivers and Cameron?

Les will never coach again. He was done in 2015 when he was supposed to be fired. He mailed it in this past season. He tanked both interviews. I think he wants to get paid a few more years to sit on the front porch and drink tea.

I doubt that many P5 schools would be interested - even next year. I would think if he really wants to coach again, he will either be and NFL assistant or a HC at one of the smaller mid-major schools. He's taken a hell of a fall from grace and has only himself to blame. Until he gets out of denial, I doubt he will ever coach a top flight school again, and even then, I don't see any top flight school willing to consider him at the end of next season. I could be wrong, but I think everyone learned about him what they needed to learn over the past couple of years. He had so much and did so little since 1/9/12.

Unlike Saban, Les has actually been successful in the League in the past. Had a good tenure under Campo and Gailey, if memory serves me correctly.

Saban only failed as HC in the NFL. He was the DC for Browns in 90s and did fine.

I stand corrected. Had completely forgotten about his time with the Browns.

LSU fans hate Les and believe he is a bottom feeding coach now... It is kinda amazing, in 10 years people will be writing thesis papers on this.

Yeah I guess so when LSU bottomed out and missed a bowl...

people write their own narrative...

Was it time for him to go? Yes LSU had slipped from a National Championship contending team to just a good team. Fans may not have liked the way they won, but they still won. All of a sudden 9-4 became an excuse that Miles sucked....

If O can't put LSU back into that 10-11 win area then he needs to go as well because LSU already a coach to win 8-9 games and he apparently sucked.

I really think Les would do fine as an NFL head coach.

You just don't get it. All those top 5 classes, all those guys you are putting in the NFL, the highest paid staff....music city bowl, Texas bowl....doing that is bottling out with the talent on the roster.
