"Also do not look for Jon Tenuta to come to Michigan. He is going to be named defensive coordinator and assistant head coach at LSU, replacing Bo Pelini who too over at Nebraska."

Isn't Larry Porter assistant head coach?

He has a great deal of experience and runs an agressive defense that would be highlighted by our team speed.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Though I guess they could do it like the Skins who have multiple asst. HCs.

What's the word on Tenuta's recruiting abilities? Gotta be better then Pellini.

I'm thinking the add'l title comes with some add'l BS duties, but enables schools to bump up an asst's pay.

Actually I get the feeling they're about the same. His DL coach is the recruiting coordinator and is likely to stay since he coached under Johnson before. His greatest asset as a recruiter would probably be his playcalling style.

"Foster, 48, acknowledged that he reached out to Spurrier, wondering if a new workplace might help him more quickly reach his goal of becoming a head coach."
