Nice find.

quote:

"I don't know what's inside the head of the Michigan AD (Dave Brandon). I don't know what he has in mind. I'm sure he's got a plan, but I don't know if that includes Les Miles or not.

Great line by Alleva.

"Obviously he's an alumnus of Michigan and he's had a tremendous amount of success here at LSU. I don't know what Michigan has on their mind. We'll see shortly."

Oh snap

Great line? What did I miss?

Sounds like Alleva is trying to convince UM to consider Les.

It really doesn't matter what Miles, Alleva, or Brandon say publicly. Things like this aren't handled directly anyway. Brandon has a proxy that is gauging interest from different coaches. That interest is gauged through agents. Miles' agent knows what he is willing to listen to and what he doesn't want to listen to. And, Brandon's proxy (committee, search firm or whatever) knows what it is that Brandon is looking for.

Quotes like this mean nothing.

What do they expect him to say? He can say the Michigan AD has called him, but unless he flat out says that Miles told them to frick off, then the rumors just continue. He can say they haven't contacted him, which could be true, could be bullshite. Basically, any way you want to look at it, what Alleva says to the public doesn't mean shite. I put absolutely no stock in the statements Miles and Alleva will make on the situation over the next week or so.

I disagree, this is a war time situation and we need war time AD.

Time to wake up, Joe.

And if you think Trent Johnson hire is going to cut it, think again.

Based off of that chart I would say before RR was fired we were at level 2 Guarded. But now we move to level 3 elevated. If we get reports of talk we shall move up once again.

So we all agree we are at Yellow

Alleva needs to be removed before we hit Orange

We need a Gordon Gekko if we are going to the mattresses
