They need to have Earl Cager on speed dial.

Crutch time!!!
2nd times a charm

From the outside looking in i felt like Crutch was building something and his departure came by surprise but trust me i don't think that will ever happen again.
Wish they wasn't so stubborn and would of gave the job to Hank when he wanted it but hey i put in zero input on coaching searches so my opinion means little.

Hire Guy LeCompte and win state titles out the arse

Not trying to be funny but is that the guy that quit because of mold in the school or something like that? i remember a coach with that name
Posted on 12/21/17 at 9:02 pm to TigerKnight03
Yep. Former Mandeville coach.
Posted on 12/21/17 at 9:14 pm to TheBob
yes thats him. yes sir would love for that to happen but you and me both know it won't lol

Maybe Brown from Karr
Posted on 12/21/17 at 9:44 pm to TheBob
Lecompte would run circles around the state at Aug.

Man i really like him but i just wonder how long can Karr keep him. That guy have next level written all over him. I've seen it with my own eyes that those kids love him the community loves him, even down the road at Landry Walker have the upmost respect for him.
Plus he's a winner.

My son plays for Mandeville. Have watched Lacompte for 4 years now.
What he does with minimal talent is amazing.
This team went 4-6 this year. Partly because of his departure 3 days before the season, and partly because last years qb was recovering from a broken collar bone he suffered in Hoover’s 7v7, and partly because of an experiment to put said qb at receiver as a playmaker and use Bubby Brister’s sophomore son at qb.
All things said, Mandeville was 0-3 before you could blink.
Lacomptes play calling would have been good enough to overcome all those things listed above......except of course his departure.
Lacompte at a talent filled school like St Aug would be disgusting. I know the man personally and hope he lands somewhere to showcase his talents.

What are the real reasons that things went south at Mandeville?

He was advised both medically and legally to not go into the building that was identified as having mold. His health was really taking a hit.
The school/school board said the tests were conducted and it was a safe environment.
He took his medical and legal advice.
The school asked him to step down or be fired for not fulfilling his coaching duties. He stepped down for his health.
It has since been proven the tests conducted were not sufficient.
As far as I know the case against the school/school board is still going on.
I see him and talk to him at Franco’s and he’s doing much better health wise and just wishes it never would have come this. But he had to stand up to it for his own personal health. And was doing so for the boys too. He was just pushed into a corner.
