He really isn't a bad OC at all.....

He was the #1 OC in the league not that long ago. Considered among the best in the country. Another SEC casualty.

I posted this as a rumor yesterday on the coaching changes board.

Saban will be the next coach at LSU, you better listen up boys.

in 5 or 6 years maybe. Mich. will make a hire before the end of next week.

Who do you think they will hire?

That would be a great hire for Bo now that you mention it. I can't believe Tubbs let him go. This may be bad for Auburn next year. If Muschamp were to leave now and go back to LSU, Tubberville should just retire.

If Arkansas hires Muschamp, I wonder if he'd hire Borges.

Probably...borges is a good hire in my opinion. I think he is a good offensive mind. I actually think that Muschamp and Borges are both better coaches than Tubberville. He will be in trouble if they both leave.

So, what's the story? Is Borges a sacrificial lamb? Did Tuberville want to go in a different direction scheme-wise this year and Al didn't?

I didn't expect this.

and in is the ULM Offensive Coordinator!

I can see it now...the War-Cat formation, the MANroe blocking scheme, and the Sabanator (a situational formation where smaller, slower players line up against their "superior" opponents and beat them senseless...on said "superior" opponents home field).

What I heard over here yesterday is that he has someone in mind that runs a spread offense. he wants to impliment the spread with this new quarterback he has dwon there right now. The kid is a good QB, he was a 5 star and very talented. I guess we will see who he hires.

Kodi Burns?

They didn't have much for him to do in that MSU game. He basically ran the same two plays the entire game.

Tony Franklin, OC at Troy and former OC at Kentucky under Mumme. While I appreciate what Borges has done at AU, without a backfield full of first round draft choices, he's been horrible.

Yes...Auburns running game was not there this year like it usually is and I think that is the difference in y'all being where you are right now and possibly being in the hunt. Auburn has a good team they just needed a little better running game. Hell we need a better everything.

Our running game actually got better as the season progressed, it was our passing game that never came around. Recruiting Burns last year and Furr this year, makes me think going to the spread isn't something Tub's just now decided to do.

That's a shame. Auburn's office was averaging what, 9 points a game?
