Surprised, but that's what I like about Tubberville.

Doesn't matter that he started 3 Fresh OL & their Rb was out for the first 5 weeks. 8-4 isn't going to cut it.

From what i've seen of Kodi, he is not a pure passer at all. He can get the job done, but he needs to run alot ala Vince Young in order for his passing to have an affect.

It was a little better than 9 points a game, of course that was against SEC defenses, if we were in the Big 11 we may have led the conference in scoring!

Yeah, against such vaunted defenses as Kentucky? Even a rancid Louisville team threw up tons on them.

Well Vern, we didn't play Kentucky, but we did beat Florida the last two years, how did y'all do against them?

Louisville Off= 35.8 points per game 501 yds of off per game

Ohio St Of= 32.0 points per game, 405 yds of off per game

BTW BCS Top 25: Big East 4 ranked teams> Big 10 3 ranked teams

If Miles leaves this year Saban will go back to BR. If Miles stays this year and then leaves Saban will not go back. It is this year or never to get Saban back in BR.

The thing is, I'm not sure the LSU faithful want him back as badly anymore.

Why? What in the world makes you think Saban would leave Bama after only 1 year with his reputation the way it is already? He wouldn't be able to recruit Louisiana, Alabama, or Florida if he did that shite.

The bammer players aren't buying in to Nick's process, aight? He's looking at three to four years before he can field a competitive team and we all know SEC coaches get four years to prove they can win!

Saban better hire a new OC to replace Appleboy and run a spread with Star Jackson. Another year of Sarah Jessica and Saban may be in deep do-do.

I think they will bring in the spread with Applewhite, I just don;t think they have the talent right now to do it. Our offensive line sux. Tebow couldn't do anything at Alabama behind that line.

Got to call bullshite on that, Sara Jessica has pretty good wheels and if you run a spread it makes the o-lines job easier than running a pocket passing attack. I don't think Opie Applewhite is running the offense, I think Pendry is running it.

Al Borges out as Auburn's offensive coordinator
So, what's the story? Is Borges a sacrificial lamb? Did Tuberville want to go in a different direction scheme-wise this year and Al didn't?

I didn't expect this.

Auburn went from first to 9 or 10 in SEC offense. Borges, also the QB coach, never had the b/u QB ready to play once in his tenure. And as long as I'm piling on here....he wasn't a very good recruiter.

Multiple insiders are saying his replacement is Tony Franklin, the OC at Troy. Expect to have an OC named prior to the start of Bowl practice this coming Saturday.

Kodi Burns?

They didn't have much for him to do in that MSU game. He basically ran the same two plays the entire game.

Kodi Burns stepped onto campus as a true freshman last Summer. He never got the benefit of spring practice to learn the offense. Once AU gets a new coordinator and a new offense is put in place, Kodi will have plenty of time to learn and adjust.
