Orgeron would gain a lot of respect from me, if he'd go away from his good friend with this hire.
I don't think Kiffin would be good for LSU, and i don't think O could handle his ego. Aranda is the perfect guy for O. Someone who will do his job, but won't go over O's head. I don't see that in Kiffin.

Not necessarily like this, but it is a bit concerning that Lane--who has been O's boss not once, but twice--will suddenly become his subordinate. I'm sure he's professional enough to do it well when everything is going great, but I wonder how their dynamic would handle diversity.
Regardless, this was spun at the beginning like Kiffin was going to be doing his buddy O a favor, but what is becoming more and more obvious is that O is actually the one doing his buddy Kiffin a favor by saving him a seat to land,
