Sources now telling me #LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda is not expected to be the next #UNLV coach. There were some initial talks from both sides but no offer was made. #Oregon offensive coordinator Marcus Arroyo remains a strong candidate for the UNLV job.

My best friend died a lonely man
In some Palm Springs hotel room
I got the call last Christmas Eve
And they told me the news
I tried all night not to break down and cry
As the tears rolled down my face
I felt so cold and empty
Like a lost soul out of place

Well, CSU is certainly more believeable. That is a far better job that has launched a few coaches to better things.

Why would that automatically mean he’s going to Colorado State?

It certainly makes more sense, but a morbidly obese career OL coach just landed the University of Arkansas job at the spry age of 60. I don’t see why he doesn’t just be patient for a respectable P5 team take a shot at him, because it’ll happen.

Seems like if Aranda wants a head job he wants it on the west coast

Why go to a MW job when you could be a top target at a PAC 12 school next year?

UCLA, USC, and Arizona will potentially open next year.
