I wonder if the inability to start the same offensive line two games in a row in 2018 until late in the season had something to with the line having troubles picking up pressure and blitzes effectively?

I wonder If not giving Joe passing options and asking him to spend 7 second waiting to pass had anything to do with us not being good.

Apparently our LT missing 6 games and our RT missing 2 games this year doesn’t count

ove E but I prefer we hire a full time young innovative mind that has concepts that can continuously evolve in the spread.

This is how I feel. I don't get these "we have the playbook so we're fine." types. That playbook is outdated the second the season ends. You need to add wrinkles every year.

Just someone to help him keep it up.

We need to be constantly evolving to what defenses do and what we have personnel wise.

I'm not giving him credit for that team

So your logic is he sucks because he doesn't get credit for coaching up great WRs when he was the WR coach? He's not going to be the OC regardless so I don't understand your logic here.

Btw it wasn't like it was just with the saints either. He has been successful at different levels with multiple teams.

Two entirely different situations between 2018 and 2019 missing starts on the OL. In 2019 the 6 missing games by the LT was known ahead of time and there was ample time to prepare for same. Whereas in 2018 it was different players going down.

Totally unknown

0 hyperbole.

We used out TE and RB for blocking a a majority of the time. We even used 2 TE at times

Lower leg injury that affected him all season. Notice how much better he moved in 2019 vs. 2018?

frick your BS excuse

None of them explain why we countered this issues by asking the OL to block longer and giving Joe less options to throw the ball to.

Which are 2 of the reasons we were so much bette this year.

How we dealt wish pressure was systematically different.

How many times time we spread our TE and RB out wide?

How often did give Joe 5 reviewing options?

We dealt with pressure by trying to add more blockers not byforcing teams to add more men in coverage.

This year we did. The opposite to significantly better results.

Dude what's your problem?

You threw out 2 incorrect assumptions and I pointed out same and now you come with a load of crapola that was not even being discussed. In addition to making snarky comments.

I believe you have serious anger issues. Seek professional help.

Here is your post including what you chose to quote from mine.

quote:

And I think he was a new addition too. My point is, Ensminger didn’t do these things in 2018. He either didn’t know how or didn’t think that was how you should deal with the blitz or pass rush.

wrong and wrong.

So if you were just talking about Munoz you didn’t make it clear till much later.

My whole point was that the was Ensminger decided to do things last year was fundamentally different than this year.

And objectively lead to worse results.
I dont Really care if Munoz was break in g down blitzes or not in 2018. The offense wasn’t working. And a laege part of the reason why was E’s shitty scheme and his decisions to deal with pressure passively.

I’m don’t think Curtis is in, but a couple younger guys might be in play.
