DJ is currently the DC at Ole Miss. Has led a nice turnaround here defensively

If I recall correctly his defenses focus on linebackers not safeties, so it would be an entirely new scheme. Don't like this.

I wasn’t all that surprised that Ole Miss and Lane hired him, but I would be kind of surprised if A&M did with his rep from Maryland.
However, if this pans out, maybe Lane can become the Dolla Gen version of Saban’s Home for Wayward Former Head Coaches.
