Here is a honest portrayal of what Lane can do. Players still consider Mississippi to be the racist Klan capital of the US. And he can bring enough talent they have been winning at % better than they have in a couple of generations.

I think Kiffin is a very risky hire. Very. Many reasons he might not work out here.
But….this is hard for me to type … he actually IS the best option available.
Lane > CBK
Lane > James Franklin.
Dan Lanning ain’t coming here.
Lane >> Clark Lea, Sumrall, Lashlee, Cignetti, Brent Key
1 of these guys (Lea, Sumrall, Lashlee, Brent Key) might prove to be great 4 years from now.
But TODAY….. Lane checks the most boxes.
Crazy as that is …. It’s true.
