This is from mgoblog, which is just a blog I know, but has a pretty big following among the UM fans, and usually has a pretty good gauge on the pulse of the fanbase

Until our AD fricked up the Miles hire last time around, we had a 40 yr non-losing season streak, and like 25 yrs straight of bowl games.
Talk all the chit ya want. No team in the SEC has been that good that long. We arent talking 7-6 seasons either.
The most important streak we lost was the "Our FB team never served a day of probation".
Is there a SEC team that could match that?
Didnt think so, so dont be tampering with my posts. Michigan can hold their heads high. We won for yrs, and we won the right way.

I love miles and hope he stays, but some of the shite he does will drive you bat shite crazy.
He also has the want for big downhill runners. He is the anti Rodriquez. And he is a class act, more so then any coach in the sec (contrary to what you might have read/heard).

Was when I came here back in 07 during last search.
I think the over-signing is a sign of the SEC...not indicitive of Miles character.
I would of taken JH first due to age. For overall love of Michigan though, Miles is a class act. Sure never saw him go out in public to diss us.

Quit living in the past. Who gives a shite about 40 years ago, you just lost by 38 to freaking Mississippi State. Last time I checked LSU fans were bitching about only beating the same team by 22.

And the run-on sentence was done purposely with each "and" written in italics to comically illustrate an all-in-one-breath multitude of issues he has with a Miles hire.
He's not a fan of Miles, obviously. But he's not alone there in Michigan, although I wish Brian's dissent was the majority view and much louder. I don't want Miles to go, just Crowton.

Nobody is living in the past pus-nugget.

You know in the 90s while LSU was sucking? We were kicking arse and taking names. We did so in the 70s, 80s, and most of this past decade as well.
That is pretty damn recent if ya ask me. By your intepretation, South Carolina and Southern Miss should now be regarded as the epitome of a "National Power".
