A Good Source Tells Me Stud should be fired.

You have to hire coaches and let them do their jobs, with that said, if things are not working or a certain area is subpar, it is the head coach's job to step in and fix it.
After the defensive problems of last year, I credit Miles for stepping in and fixing the problem - our LB's were night and day better this year with Chavis, less coverage breakdowns too with Cooper, jury still out on Haley but a talent upgrade at that position would help.
Offensively this year, the line underperformed, Stud should go or Miles should've been more hands on day to day. Crowton's play calling left a lot to be desired but not knowing when and how Miles impacted game day calls on the field it's hard to lay all the blame on Crowton.
The QB play has not been up to par and that is on Crowton - there not prepared or they have been placed in positions there not ready for yet.

Stud is terrible. I read a piece on Big Herm last year that quoted scouts saying he had some of the worst footwork and technique they had ever seen. Those are fundamentals that should have been corrected his freshman year.

True, which was 2004, which is on Saban and Searles. Stud sucks, but the previous regime wasn't much better at developing O-linemen either.

...which is always forgotten in the rush to slam Miles and the current coaching staff, IMHO.

Without giving you my BIL name I guess you need to take FWIW. Or find the HC of a highschool that played at Nicholls while Frank Wilson was their RB and then you can figure out the rest. A lot of work though

That is BS..Searles was good at developing talent, the issue was Saban had trouble recruiting OL talent..Searles MAY have been an example of a great position coach but a bad recruiter...
